Whether it be zits, frizzy hair, or stress, you should never have to buy a product to learn it does not work as well as you had hoped. That is literally one of the worst feelings, especially when you forked over an arm and a leg ($$) to purchase the product in the first place.

Why are these five products the best?

  1. They are all under $50
  2. I genuinely use them all every day and I swear they will transform your life!
  3. They are healthy/all natural

Five Life-Changing Items Under $50 That Will Transform Your Self-Care Routine

Want your face to feel like you just got a $200 facial every day?! Meet the jade roller. I found the jade roller through an insta-friend who was rubbing her face every night in her stories. I recently developed some adult acne (thanks to switching birth controls). Finding a solution for clear skin has been so tough.

I learned that jade rollers (both the stone jade and the rolling of the skin) reduces wrinkles and improves the elasticity of the skin. Plus it’s $20 on Amazon!

Bonus: I put mine in the freezer or fridge for a few minutes before using it. It feels SO good.

dream coat color wow

I found out about this product through work actually and then was gifted it by a colleague. I thought it would be like any other hair serum (like a Moroccan oil) ..nope, I was shocked. It literally transformed my hair.

Let me give you some background. I dyed my hair for the first time ever about 6 months ago and had no idea how to take care of it with color. All of a sudden my hair was ridiculously dry and therefore, frizzy. Ick!

After I started using Dream Coat (I spray it on my hair after I get out of the shower about twice a week), my hair was literally transformed. Even in the craziest humidity, my hair is silky smooth. I have never been in love with a hair product so much.

The best part?! It’s only $28!!!

Recently, I found myself complaining…a lot. I was dealing with some stresses at work and those stresses were turning into comments like, ‘FML‘ and ‘I hate everything‘. After a week or so of constantly saying this, I realized I had totally disregarded any gratitude I had for the GOOD things in my life. My stresses were so small. I’ll post soon about the effects and my experience keeping a gratitude journal.

I’ve only been using the journal for a short time now but let me tell you, I have LOVED it. My mental health and happiness have improved so much.

I just write in it for five minutes every night and state at least three things I’m grateful for!

In addition to your mental health, your physical health is so important as well! I personally LOVE to work out but even more, I love to foam roll. Foam rolling is so important because you are essentially giving your muscles an amazing deep tissue massage.

If your anything like me, you’re sitting in a chair or an office most of the day. Even at 26, I feel my muscles getting sore not moving often. Since I started foam rolling, this has totally subsided. I love the ridges on this foam roller. It feels so amazing on your muscles.

You know how some makeups make your face break out? This never happens with Glossier. 2. This product is incredible. It lasts all day and never looks like “too much”. I am obsessed!
